Lookin at Lucky Draws the Rail Posted: 28 Apr 2010 01:46 PM PDT Lookin at Lucky, the favorite for Saturday’s Kentucky Derby at 3-1, drew the rail in the post draw Wednesday. The No. 1 post spot is generally considered a disadvantage unless the horse has all-out speed because horses charging into the first turn tend to jam the inside. Image: Zuma Press Sidney’s Candy (5-1) didn’t fare much better, drawing the No. 20 outside post. Only twelve horses have won the Kentucky Derby from the No. 1 post – the last one was Ferdinand in 1986. Only two winners have come from No. 20 spot – Big Brown doing so two years ago. Here is the Derby field in post-position order with odds: Lookin At Lucky, 3-1 Ice Box, 10-1 Noble’s Promise, 12-1 Super Saver, 15-1 Line of David, 30-1 Stately Victor, 30-1 American Lion, 30-1 Dean’s Kitten, 50-1 Make Music for Me, 50-1 Paddy O’Prado, 20-1 Devil May Care, 10-1 Conveyance, 12-1 Jackson Bend, 15-1 Mission Impazible, 20-1 Discreetly Mine, 30-1 Awesome Act, 10-1 Dublin, 12-1 Backtalk, 50-1 Homeboykris, 50-1 Sidney’s Candy, 5-1 [Kentucky Derby] Post from: EveryJoe Lookin at Lucky Draws the Rail |
Helena Mattsson Nipple Slip Posted: 28 Apr 2010 01:22 PM PDT At the Iron Man 2 world premiere, Helena Mattsson posed for photographers on the red carpet wearing a blue dress that didn’t quite provide enough coverage. She had a tiny nipple slip that didn’t go unnoticed. As you can see in other photos from the event, her dress was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. The next night, the gorgeous blonde attended the launch party for Eva Longoria Parker’s new fragrance – EVA. Mattsson looked stunning, as always, and this time her dress was intact. Mattsson is a Swedish actress who has appeared in a number of American films and TV shows. In 2007, she starred in Species: The Awakening. She also appeared in You and I and Surrogates in 2009. She plays Rebecca in Iron Man 2 and Irina on Desperate Housewives. Post from: EveryJoe Helena Mattsson Nipple Slip |

Dez Bryant’s Mom Not a Hooker Posted: 27 Apr 2010 08:55 PM PDT Prior to the NFL draft, teams do their homework on each and every player. That said, Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland went a bit too far with a question to wide receiver Dez Bryant. Ireland reportedly asked Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute during an interview before the 2010 NFL Draft. Bryant told Ireland then that his mom is indeed not a hooker. After the draft, Bryant continued to deny that his mom is a prostitute. NFL teams were especially interested in Bryant before the draft due to events that have surrounded him. During the 2009 college football season, he was suspended for the year for covering up contact he had with Deion Sanders. Background checks into his past show that he was born to a 15-year-old who has been convicted of selling crack and did jail time. Apparently, the Dallas Cowboys weren’t concerned with any of the skeletons in Dez Bryant’s closet. They traded up to take him in the first round of the draft. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones is already saying that he has big plans for Bryant in 2010. As Bryant’s career unfolds, we’ll see if the concerns about his character going into the draft were warranted. Once he’s back behind the mic, Uecker says he will start by only doing home games. Eventually, the 75-year-old said he wants to go back to traveling with the team. “I’ve been in baseball 55 years. This is all I know — or want to know, for that matter,” said Uecker at a press conference. Uecker frequently references how he wasn’t much of a player as a professional. After his playing days were over, Uecker became a much bigger star. He authored two books, appeared as a comedian on the Tonight Show, starred in commercials and even acted in the TV sitcom “Mr. Belvedere”.
