| R3 Motorsports Taps Johnny Sauter Posted: 05 Apr 2010 12:21 PM PDT For the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway this Friday night, Johnny Sauter will make a one-race appearance driving the No. 23 Chevrolet for R3 Motorsports. Their hope is that a veteran like Sauter will aid them even more in the tight ownership standings.  Image: Zuma Press "I really appreciate R3 Motorsports asking me to drive for them this weekend at Phoenix,” said Sauter. “I've been keeping an eye on what they're doing this year and everything seems to be going in a good direction. If I can help them continue in that direction by moving them up the Owner's Points some more, then it will be a good thing. "I love racing a track like Phoenix. It's fast, tricky and keeps you up on the wheel the entire time. A track like this has a layout that makes for some good, competitive racing. | Blake Thomas Monroe Twitter Suicide a Hoax Posted: 05 Apr 2010 10:26 AM PDT Earlier today, we reported on the story that a kid named Blake Thomas Monroe committed suicide on Twitter. After a lot of good investigating, the Blake Thomas Monroe suicide has all but been confirmed to be a hoax. Here is the reasons why Blake suicide on Twitter is a hoax:
The moral to the story is that Twitter isn’t the avenue to commit a suicide hoax. There are too many people with too much time on their hands in the Twitter universe — you will get caught! | Blake Thomas Monroe – Did He Kill Himself? Posted: 05 Apr 2010 02:35 AM PDT The Twitter world is buzzing with the news that a kid named Blake Thomas Monroe committed suicide via Twitter. In fact, it’s one of the top trending topics on Twitter right now. According to Blake on Twitter, he planned to kill himself by jumping off the top of a hospital building with a rope tied around his neck. At one point, he asked the Twitter world to stop him from committing suicide: “Someone, please stop me from jumping. I don’t think I want to die, but hell seems like an utopia compared to this.” Later, Blake said this: “As I say goodbye now, dont be sad. Never be sad. I am happy. Everying will be fine I am happier than I hav ever been because it is all over” Blake last message was: “It truly is a good goodbye.” Although a number of people on Twitter are saying “RIP Blake”, a few investigators have said that it is all a hoax. Some experts thought that Apple would make jailbreaking the iPad impossible, however there is already work being done to jailbreak an iPad. Check out this video of someone getting close to accomplishing an iPad jailbreak: While we don’t know yet how to jailbreak an iPad, it’s only a matter of time. | Connecticut One Win Away from Championship Posted: 04 Apr 2010 08:55 PM PDT Not even Brittney Griner could slow down Connecticut. Baylor’s freshman phenom had 13 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots but Connecticut cruised to a 70-50 victory. UConn has now won 77 games in a row. Amazing. In this game, it was all about Maya Moore. In 39 minutes of play, Moore had 34 points, 12 rebounds and two steals while shooting 14-for-26 from the floor. Tina Charles helped out with 21 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots. While the final score doesn’t look too close, the game was actually close — by Connecticut standards. They usually blow teams out by at least 30 points. Baylor did good to only lose to by 20. UConn only needs one more win to complete their back-to-back title run. The last hurdle to overcome is Stanford. Though Stanford is the second best team in the country, it is a distant second. Connecticut will win the game, the only question is by how much.
