Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced the brand’s all-time best March sales of 30,522 units sold, a 23.5-percent increase over the same period last year and 10.7-percent increase over the previous March sales record set in 2007

Hyundai Motor America today announced an all-time sales record for both the first quarter of the year and for the month of March as the company’s all-new Sonata and Tucson clearly connected with new-car buyers across the country. In March, the company sold 47,002 vehicles, up 15.4 percent versus one year ago, marking the fifteenth consecutive month of year-over-year retail market share gains for Hyundai. And for the quarter, Hyundai Motor America sold 111,509 vehicles, outpacing the previous record first quarter of 2006.

Buick and GMC dealers in the U.S. reported sales for those brands in March that were 54 percent higher than March 2009. This led to an overall gain of 43 percent for the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands in the U.S. Total combined sales for GM’s four brands were 185,406 during the month. This represents a 34-percent increase from February 2010.

Ford punctuated a strong first quarter with a 43 percent sales increase in March. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers delivered 178,546 new vehicles in March. First quarter sales totaled 428,596, up 37 percent. The 43 percent gain matches a similar increase in February. These are the highest monthly sales increases since February 1984. Chick of the Day: Stephanie Pratt

Stephanie Pratt is best known for her role on MTV’s The Hills. She is also the younger sister of Spencer Pratt, who is married to Heidi Montag. Though she’s definitely hot, Stephanie isn’t exactly the poster child for good behavior. In an interview with US Weekly in 2007, she talked about her drug addiction, bulimia battle and being a blackout drinker. She also stole $1,300 worth of good from Neiman Marcus in 2006 when she was a production assistant on ABC’s Lost. And more recently in October 2009, she was arrested for DUI in Hollywood.

If she’s not careful, the 23-year-old is going to be washed up by the time she’s 30. Even with a cigarette in hand, she looked good in her Maxim shoot late last year.

Al Pacino as Pat Riley in “Showtime” Movie

Posted: 01 Apr 2010 11:19 AM PDT

Al Pacino will star as Pat Riley in a movie called “Showtime”, according to FlickSided.com. The movie will be about the Los Angeles Lakers of the 1980s — the NBA dynasty that saw its share of ups and downs.

As a big NBA fan, I’m looking forward to seeing this movie (considering that the source is legit, of course). Pacino was a believable coach in “Any Given Sunday” and he’s the perfect choice to play Pat Riley. Riley coached with energy, emotion and nastiness — three traits Pacino will be able to pull off.

The most interesting part to me will be the rest of the cast. Finding a Pat Riley isn’t nearly as difficult as finding actors to play Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Byron Scott and the rest of the players on the 1980s Lakers.

It’ll also be interesting to see which aspects the movie covers. You know Magic Johnson’s AIDS announcement will be involved. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s quirkiness will also likely have an appearance. What else?

Anyways, I can’t wait until we here more about the “Showtime” movie other than Pat Riley being played by Al Pacino.

Video: Kevin Garnett on Michael F’in Jordan

Posted: 01 Apr 2010 10:36 AM PDT

Kevin Garnett is known for his emotion on the court. After the Boston Celtics lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 109-104 in Boston on Wednesday night, Garnett’s emotion transferred to the interview room. In this video, Kevin Garnett curses when answering a question about Kevin Durant.

“I thought we were playing Michael Fucking Jordan tonight the way he was getting the whistle. Durant damn near shot more free throws than the whole team,” said Garnett after the game.

For the record, Durant was 15-for-15 from the floor on his way to 37 points and eight rebounds in 44 minutes. The Celtics as a team were 13-for-17 from the line. Garnett had 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists — and shot a grand total of zero free throws.

With the win, the Thunder (46-28) remain the sixth seed in the Western Conference. The Celtics, on the other hand, are now the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 47-27. Now matter how angry Garnett gets, this year’s Celtics won’t be bringing him his second championship. The team is just too old and the chemistry is too shaky.

Here is the video of Kevin Garnett calling Kevin Durant Michael Fuckin’ Jordan:

Jenna Dewan has appeared in a number of movie bombs that have made very little at the box office or gone straight to DVD. You might have seen her as Nora Clark in the dance movie Step Up (2006), her most notable film to date. She also met her now-husband Channing Tatum on the set of the movie. Let’s take a look at Jenna Dewan.
