| Tiger Woods Dominates, Ignores Bootyism Posted: 09 Apr 2010 12:00 AM PDT Even though Tiger Woods was friendly with the fans, he was still the same ol’ Tiger Woods when it came to dominating on the golf course. In his first action since his sex scandal, Tiger Woods shot a 68 in Augusta at the Masters. He trails Fred Couples by only two shots and appears to be in fantastic position to return with a bang. The fans on the golf course were almost all very encouraging. The only controversy were a pair of signs that flew overhead. An airplane had a sign that said "TIGER: DID YOU MEAN BOOTYISM?" and then "SEX ADDICT? YEAH. RIGHT. SURE. ME TOO!”  Bootyism doesn't phase Tiger Woods (Image: Zuma Press) In typical Tiger Woods fashion, he wasn’t totally pleased with his play — even though it surpassed the expectations of most experts. “For the most part, I think I hit the ball well all day,” said Tiger. “And I just didn’t make a lot of putts. If I putted well today, it could have been a really special round.” When asked, Tiger Woods said he didn’t see the Bootyism sign or the Sex Addict sign. But he was happy with the reaction of the crowd. Said Tiger: “The people were just incredible … incredible all day.” Can Tiger Woods continue his stellar play? | Video: The Situation and David Wright Posted: 08 Apr 2010 11:44 PM PDT The Situation of Jersey Shore fame and David Wright of the New York Mets have been featured in a Vitamin Water commercial that you can see below. The Situation and David Wright can be seen training to get in shape. David Wright is getting in shape for a comeback where for the Mets, while The Situation is apparently getting in shape to impress the ladies. The commercial is actually pretty amusing. It’s basically Jersey Shore meets Rocky. The Situation and Wright have some funny interactions. Vitamin Water is known for their unique commercial. This one is quite unique. Who would have ever thought an MTV reality show and the New York Mets would be the basis of a commercial for a sports drink? | Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy Tweet About Breakup Posted: 08 Apr 2010 10:17 PM PDT Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy ended their five-year relationship — and then tweeted about it. Apparently the breakup is amicable. Carey wrote on Twitter, "Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I'm grateful for the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best. S'okay! Be of good cheer folks! It's a beautiful world, and we're all gonna get what we need the most!" And McCarthy tweeted, "I'm so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane (Carrey’s 22-year-old daughter) and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart." Some speculate that it was Carrey’s depression that led to their breakup. “Jim has suffered from depression, and that might have taken a toll on the relationship,” People magazine senior editor David Caplan said. | Survivor Producer Suspected in Wife’s Death Posted: 08 Apr 2010 09:41 PM PDT Bruce Beresford-Redman, a three-time Emmy-nominated TV producer, was taken into police custody after the body of his wife, Monica was found in a sewer near their Cancun resort. He had reported his wife missing on Tuesday.

| Posted: 08 Apr 2010 09:37 PM PDT Once you have been offered a job, you might find out that the salary isn’t exactly as much as you had expected. If you research, prepare and plead a good case, you can try to negotiate a better salary with the potential employer.  Image: istockphoto Research to see if company’s offer is competitive. By using the Bureau of Labor Statistics and professional associations in your field, you can find out if the salary being offered is within industry standards. If you are relocating for the job, consider the cost of living in the new locale. You can use the ACCRA Cost of Living Index to find out how much your salary is worth in a specific city. Prepare yourself to explain to the employer why you are worth a higher salary. Be specific about what you will do to increase the productivity and bottomline of the company. Submit a counter offer and shoot a little higher than you are willing to settle for. That way, you will have some room for negotiations. If the company isn’t willing to budge on the base salary, try to work out a deal for stock options, extra vacation time, performance bonuses or other perks. After all, the job market is tough right now. If all else fails and you really want the job, accept it under the condition that you can re-negotiate salary again in 90 days. Beresford-Redman is a former producer of Survivor and the co-creator of Pimp My Ride. Apparently the couple had a physical altercation on Sunday. Beresford-Redman said his wife left to go shopping alone on Monday and didn’t return.
