| Posted: 18 Apr 2010 04:39 PM PDT Charlie’s Angels‘ actresses Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith were some of the many celebs at the TV Land Awards held on the Sony Studios Lot on Saturday. Like all the Charlie’s Angels, they were damn hot in their hey day. Ladd (58) and Smith (62) still look pretty good for their ages.  Image: Zuma Press Smith was one of the original Angels, along with Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, while Ladd joined the show in its second season in 1977 to replace Farrah. They both remained on the show through the end in 1981. Cheryl’s daughter Jordan Ladd has become quite a hottie herself. Jordan began appearing in commercials at the young age of two. As an adult, she’s become quite popular in the indie film circle. She’s probably best known for her roles in Cabin Fever, Death Proof and the 2009 horror film Grace.  Image: Zuma Press

| Video: Ryan Villopoto Crash – Supercross Posted: 18 Apr 2010 03:56 PM PDT Here is the Ryan Villopoto crash video. In St. Louis during the AMA Supercross on Sunday, Ryan Villopoto had a nasty crash. It’s not immediately known how injured he is, but Villopoto is said to have suffered serious injuries. You can see the video of the Ryan Villopoto crash at the end of this article. On the ninth lap of the race, Villopoto was trying to make a pass when the crash occurred. Medical workers who reached Villopoto first were looking at his leg. Looking at the video, a Ryan Villopoto broken leg wouldn’t be unexpected. Ryan Villopoto is a Supercross and Motocross star. The 21-year-old finished in first place in his last two Supercross outings — March 27th in Jacksonville and April 10th in Houston. He looked to be in a good spot in this Supercross race prior to the horrific crash. | Cars.com Names 2010 Green Cities Posted: 18 Apr 2010 03:29 PM PDT With the 40th anniversary of Earth Day (April 22, 2010) approaching, Cars.com has created a list of the most eco-friendly cities based on their evaluation of car shopping behavior nationwide. The site’s 3rd annual Green Cities Index lists San Francisco on top, beating out the other cities based on its interest in hybrid vehicles as a percentage of total car shopping activity. | Hillary Scott and Aaron Rodgers Dating? Posted: 18 Apr 2010 03:28 PM PDT Hillary Scott and Aaron Rodgers were seen together in Las Vegas over the weekend. In pictures shown on TMZ, you can see the country music star getting close to the NFL quarterback. As of now, it’s not known whether Hillary Scott and Aaron Rodgers are dating. Hillary Scott is a member of the country music band “Lady Antebellum”. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter was born in Nashville. Lady Antebellum has had a number of hits including “Love Don’t Live Here” and “I Run to You”. Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley are her Lady Antebellum bandmates. The man who forced the Green Bay Packers to dump Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers has emerged as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Rodgers led the Packers to the playoffs, throwing for 4,434 yards and 30 touchdowns. The 26-year-old is a superstar in the making. | Men’s Health Network: “Know the Facts” Posted: 18 Apr 2010 03:16 PM PDT Men’s Health Network (MHN) recently launched a new public education initiative aimed dubbed “Know the Facts.” The initiative is aimed at consumers, the healthcare community and policymakers to raise awareness about the risks associated with prescribing and taking unapproved drugs that have not been subjected to the FDA review process.  Image: istockphoto The MHN campaign includes a policy statement, a white paper on unapproved drugs authored by Dr. Salvatore Giorgianni, Pharm.D., and a response mechanism whereby consumers can voice their support for swift enforcement action against unapproved drugs which have not been proven to be safe and effective. Drugs that aren’t approved by the FDA may have unknown or unregulated ingredients, lack of testing to determine if they are ineffective or even dangerous, improper labeling, and lack of postmarket surveillance. | Ron Artest’s Blonde Hair Leads Lakers Posted: 18 Apr 2010 03:09 PM PDT Ron Artest’s blonde hair is likely the first thing you noticed when you looked at the defensive stopper for the Los Angeles Lakers. The second thing to notice was the fantastic job Ron Artest did on Kevin Durant during Game 1 of the first round series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder. Although Ron Artest and his blonde hair were just 3-for-11 from the field, he was able to hold Kevin Durant to 24 points on 7-for-24 shooting. Both Artest and Durant were 1-for-8 from three-point land. With Durant misfiring, the Thunder didn’t have enough firepower to beat the Lakers. Instead, L.A. was able to pull out a 87-79 win. Kobe Bryant led the way with 21 points, while Pau Gasol added 19 points and 13 rebounds. The Lakers are looking to win back-to-back championships and a big part of their repeat hopes rely on Ron Artest and his blonde hair to play stout defense. So far, so good. | MMA Video: Mayhem Miller, Nick Diaz Brawl Posted: 17 Apr 2010 08:55 PM PDT When you turn in for some MMA action, you expect to see fights. What you don’t expect to see is a brawl during a post-fight interview. That is exactly what happened after a Strikeforce event that was being shown on CBA. Video of the Strikeforce brawl can be seen below. The video shows Mayhem Miller and Nick Diaz brawling. The brawl started after Mayhem Miller interrupted an interview with Jake Shields to ask when he would get a rematch. That question apparently enraged Nick Diaz and Mayhem Miller was repeatedly kicked and punched. While MMA could use publicity, this type of publicity is bad for the sport. MMA needs to prove it’s legit and not some uncivilized show that isn’t fit for television. Brawls like this will keep sponsors away and keep MMA from thriving on the national stage. | Man Vomits on Cop & Daughter at Phillies Game Posted: 17 Apr 2010 08:16 PM PDT A New Jersey man, Matthew Clemmens, intentionally vomited on an off-duty police captain and his 11-year-old daughter at a Phillies game. Clemmens is charged with assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and other offenses and was being held on bail on Friday.  Image: CBS A companion of the 21-year-old Clemmens was kicked out of the Phillies-Nationals game for unruly behavior. And then Clemmens retaliated by throwing up on off-duty police captain Michael Vangelo and his daughter. “It was the most vile, disgusting thing I’ve ever seen,” Vangelo said Friday. “He has two fingers down his throat, he lunges forward and vomits on myself and my 11-year-old.” Clemmens was subsequently rushed by fans in the next section and punched in the face before police arrived to take him away. Bonnie Clark, Phillies Vice President of Communications, released a statement that read: “We are sorry that the officer and his daughters were subject to such treatment by a fan.
