YouTube Pulls Hitler Rant Videos Posted: 21 Apr 2010 08:18 PM PDT YouTube has begun deleting the satirical Hitler rant videos that are based on the 2004 film Downfall. When trying to watch some of these hysterical clips now, you get the message “This video contains content from Constantin Film, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.” Of course, it’s going to take forever to get to all of them because thousands of these parodies were made. The hilarious videos has been extremely popular in recent months as they take a current event or situation and then overlay subtitles. And of course, there is now a parody Hitler video of the situation of the videos being taken down. Hitler, as “Downfall producer” orders a DMCA takedown from Brad Templeton on Vimeo. Taylor Swift at the Country Music Awards Posted: 20 Apr 2010 10:46 PM PDT Taylor Swift turned heads in a lavender Marchesa gown with Neil Lane diamonds at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday. And though Taylor has grown up into quite a hottie, she needs to stop trying so hard to make herself look sexy. Her natural sweetness is sexy enough. In some of the red carpet photos, her “sexy” face makes her look like a rat. Images: Zuma Press Post from: EveryJoe Taylor Swift at the Country Music Awards |
Posted: 20 Apr 2010 10:35 PM PDT While flying is notorious for exacerbating back problems, you can definitely take steps towards surviving long flights by following a few tips. First of all, the preparation should begin at home before even going to the airport. If you suffer from back pain, pack as lightly as possible. Dealing with a lot of heavy luggage items is a very easy way to hurt a back. Even after you've finished packing, double-check to make sure there aren't any packed items that you can do without. ![]() Image: istockphoto Once you get to the airport, try to check in all your bags. A small carry-on is fine as long as you won't have to store it in the overhead bin during the flight. The process of putting a bag in an overhead bin is dangerous to one's back, as is the process of retrieving the bag. Additionally, it is a good idea to try to get an aisle seat during the flight. Aisle seats give you more wiggle room and more freedom. While on the flight, if you feel your back tightening up, walk up and down the aisles a few times. You can also do a few simple stretches to try to loosen up your back. If you are really prone to back pain during flights, be proactive and take some type of pain reliever before getting on the plane. Drinking a lot of water before and during the flight can also help your body stay hydrated and keep the oxygen circling throughout your different muscle groups. Does nothing seem to help? Consider a device such as the iNeed Lumbar Massage Pillow that massage your back during the flight in an effort to keep your back loose. Post from: EveryJoe |
Boston Pounds Miami to Take 2-0 Series Lead Posted: 20 Apr 2010 10:25 PM PDT
Without Kevin Garnett, who was suspended for throwing an elbow at Quentin Richardson in Game 1, Celtics coach Doc Rivers turned to Glen Davis. Though he was blocked several times, Davis finished the night with 23 points and eight rebounds, while getting to the line for 11 free throw attempts. For Miami, Dwyane Wade scored 29 points on 18 shots while the rest of his teammates shot only 31% from the field. Miami scored a season-low 20 points in the paint – an astonishing 17 points below their season average. Ray Allen led the way offensively for the Celtics with 25 points, including 7-for-9 from three-point territory. Paul Pierce and Kendrick Perkins each had 13 points, while Rajon Rondo tallied eight points and dished 12 assists. Image: Zuma Press Post from: EveryJoe Boston Pounds Miami to Take 2-0 Series Lead |
Video: Charles Barkley Says “Assholes” Live Posted: 20 Apr 2010 09:02 PM PDT Gotta love Charles Barkley. Half of the fun of watching a NBA broadcast on TNT is wonder what the Chuckster is going to say next. On Tuesday, Charles Barkley said “y’all are assholes around here” after TNT did a bit asking if he prefers brunettes or blondes. Barkely, whose wife is blonde, said he preferred blondes. The video of Charles Barkley’s expletive can be seen below. Later in the broadcast, Charles Barkley apologized or saying “assholes” on live TV. Although the apology itself wasn’t too serious. In fact, Barkley could be heard saying it won’t be the last time he’ll curse on air. Barkley livening up the mood was needed on a night when the four NBA games included three unwatchable blowouts. With nothing to keep the viewers’ attention, Barkley at least gave something for fans to talk about. And for that, Sir Charles, we thank you.
