| Rob Lowe to Guest Star on Californication Posted: 26 Apr 2010 11:20 AM PDT It was recently announced that Rob Lowe will guest star in the 4th season of the Showtime hit series Californication. Lowe will play charismatic yet self-possessed, award-winning movie star "Eddie Nero" — a possible contender to play Hank in the film version of his hit novel as it gets turned into a film on this season of the show. At this time, it seems Lowe will appear in just one episode but could possibly recur.  Image: Zuma Press Lowe currently stars as Senator Rober McCallister on the ABC drama Brothers and Sisters. He received critical acclaim for his work on The West Wing, and has been starring in films and TV shows since the 80s. The series stars David Duchovny as hedonistic novelist Hank Moody who struggles to raise his teenage daughter (Madeleine Martin), while still carrying a torch for his ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone). Even though you have to wait another month for the movie, a free iPhone app was recently released for the film. The MacGruber app includes an exciting bomb defusing game, mullet photo tool, soundboard with lines from the flick and more. | Posted: 25 Apr 2010 08:46 PM PDT Over 2,000 cars and trucks competed in 50 categories at the 25th annual Fabulous Fords Forever at Knott’s Berry Farm on Sunday April 25, 2010. Cars and trucks from 1903 to 2010 drew thousands to the event which was sponsored by the Ford Car Club Council.

| George Hill Leads Spurs Past Mavs Posted: 25 Apr 2010 08:45 PM PDT When you think of the San Antonio Spurs, you think of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. You might want to add George Hill to that list. The second-year guard out of IUPUI carried the Spurs in Game 4 as the Spurs took a 3-1 series advantage against the Dallas Mavericks with a 92-89 victory.  Image: Zuma Press Starting at point guard, Hill scored 29 points and pulled down four rebounds on 11-for-16 shooting from the floor and 5-for-6 shooting on three-pointers. Duncan, Ginobili and Parker? They combined for only 31 points on 9-for-34 shooting. As for the Mavs, Dirk Nowitzki and Caron Butler each had 17 points, while shawn Marion had 14 points. They led by as many as 15 points in the second quarter but Dallas slumped in the third period — getting outscored 29-11. The two teams play next on Tuesday in Dallas. The Mavs need a win to stay alive. If the Spurs win, they will await the winner of the series between the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers.
