Wenger Amazing Backpacks and Warranty

Posted: 02 Mar 2010 06:45 PM PST

I’ve been using a Wenger backpack as my primary computer case for over five years now and have been absolutely satisfied with all of my experience using them on a daily basis. Wenger is the company behind the famous Swiss Army knives.

You realize that a Swiss Army knife prides itself on having what you need, when you need and a quality craftsmanship above all else.

You get all of that same great stuff when you have a computer backpack from Wenger. With computer backpacks, at least in my opinion, it’s all about the different pockets to keep things where you need them and ready when the time comes.

I’ve got just about everything in my computer backpack. The laptop of course, power cables, power strip, external hard drives, headphones, cables, notebooks, folders, digital cameras, cords, Flip video, patch cables, spare batteries, pens and much more.

With all of that stuff, my backpack is pretty heavy. Using it everyday, and travelling from client-to-client I’m really rough on my backpack. A few months ago I finally wore a hole through one of my seams in my old backpack and the strap was starting to break down a bit and twist up.

Knowing that I’d had great experience with customer service on my Swiss Army knives, I thought I’d probably be pleased with Wenger too. I wasn’t surprised. Wenger stepped up, helped me find a replacement backpack and got me a replacement at a great price. I continue to be an ongoing happy customer.

Could Donovan McNabb Become a Ram?

Posted: 02 Mar 2010 01:06 PM PST

When you think of Donovan McNabb, you think of the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s been their quarterback long enough that it would difficult to imagine him playing anywhere else. (Then again, I never thought I’d see Brett Favre in a purple Vikings jersey. But I digress…)

Rumors have circulated that trade talks with the Rams and Eagles have begun for a quarterback, and that the quarterback in question is not the logical choice of Michael Vick, but rather the veteran Donovan McNabb. From everything I had read, it certainly sounded like Vick was going to be a bargaining chip for the Eagles, but with the wacky world of the NFL it could be McNabb who becomes the chip and Vick who becomes the official Eagles starter.

NBC sports says that “multiple well-informed sources say the Rams have discussed trading for McNabb.”

Tanqueray Worth the Hype

Posted: 02 Mar 2010 10:13 AM PST

I’ve made no secret that I love gin and even though it is my favorite spirit, I had never tried one of the best know gins – Tanqueray.

So, when a bottle was offered to me for review, of course I pounced on that chance. Like I was going to turn down good gin.

The first thing I did when I opened that beautiful green bottle was take a sniff and the gin didn’t smell like alcohol. You know what I mean? That cheap smell that comes from the $10 bottles…not that I would know from personal experience.

Tanqueray smells like perfume and it’s heavenly perfume at that.

The taste of Tanqueray is light, subtle and delicious. I made a Gin Rickey with a tiny bit of simple syrup and loved every drop.

If you’re in the market for a top shelf classic, give Tanqueray a taste.

Twilight fans know her best as Alice Cullen, but to everyone else, Ashley Greene is the super-sexy girl from the SoBe ads in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Greene originally wanted to pursue modeling but eventually fell in love with acting after realizing she was too short for runway.
