Playboy Playmate: Long Island Iced Tea

Posted: 21 Mar 2010 05:56 PM PDT

The Long Island Iced Tea is a potent cocktail that uses equal parts of the white liquors – tequila, gin, vodka, rum, triple sec – along with some sour mix (or fresh lime juice) and cola. Check out Playboy Playmate Mixologist Lindsey Vuolo tending bar. She shows us how to make a Long Island Iced Tea and explains where the name came from.

Sure her form is bad and she shouldn’t put ice in the glass with her hands, but hey — she’s a Playmate.

Mike Tomlin “Highly Concerned” About Big Ben

Posted: 20 Mar 2010 08:55 PM PDT

The Pittsburgh Steelers franchise has been quiet about Ben Roethlisberger’s latest brush with the law. Head coach Mike Tomlin recently broke the silence when talking with the NFL Network.

Said Tomlin: “I’m highly concerned for our franchise and for Ben personally.”

Roethlisberger was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman earlier in March. The woman was at a nightclub in Milledgeville, Georgia when she said the Steelers’ quarterback committed the crime. No criminal charges have been pressed against Roethlisberger to date.

Last July, a woman who worked at a Lake Tahoe hotel said that Roethlisberger raped her. While there weren’t any charges in that case, the woman has filed a lawsuit. Roethlisberger responded by filing a lawsuit against that woman.

Tomlin has reason to worry about Big Ben. First of all, at the very least it appears as if Roethlisberger puts himself in dangerous positions off the field. On the field, the Steelers would be doomed without their starting QB.

Kansas Shocked by Northern Iowa

Posted: 20 Mar 2010 08:55 PM PDT

Kansas was one of the heavy favorites to come out victorious in 2010’s March Madness. However, Northern Iowa thought otherwise. In a massive upset, ninth seeded Northern Iowa beat top seeded Kansas 69-67.

Ali Farokhmanesh, who helped Northern Iowa make it to the second round, led the way once again. He had 16 points and hit four huge three-pointers. Seven-footer Jordan Eglseder had 14 points and five rebounds for UNI.

Kansas was led by Marcus Morris with 16 points, while center Cole Aldrich had 13 points, ten rebounds and two blocked shots. Sherron Collins, perhaps the biggest name on Kansas, was only 4-for-15 from the field.

There were two other upsets on Sunday. The first one featured tenth seeded Saint Mary’s rolling past second seeded Villanova 75-68. Omar Samhan exploded for Saint Mary’s, totaling 32 points, seven rebounds and two blocks on 13-for-16 shooting from the field.

The other upset was 11th seeded Washington beating third seeded New Mexico. Washington’s three-some of Quincy Pondexter, Isaiah Thomas and Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 48 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists.

Amanda Seyfried Should Never Cut Her Hair

Posted: 20 Mar 2010 08:45 PM PDT

Amanda Seyfried is definitely a hot chick — sweet face, stunning eyes, gorgeous flowing blonde locks. But seriously, she should never pull back her hair (or worse yet, cut it short). Sometimes a woman’s hair increases her beauty ten-fold.

Let’s take a look at Amanda in Vegas at the “ShoWest Final Nite Talent Awards”. (Do you think we might have too many awards shows?)

Hot Chicks at The Runaways NY Premiere

Posted: 20 Mar 2010 08:11 PM PDT

At the New York premiere of The Runaways held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema, a number of the celebrities and models looked sizzling.  The film, starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, is a coming-of-age story about the 70s teenage girl band The Runaways. Though I’m not really into Kristen Stewart, I admit that sometimes she cleans up nice.
