The show presents a unique premise as each season depicts a 24-hour period in the life of Bauer. It will be interesting to see what they do with the movie and if it can live up to the following of the series. 20th Century Fox hired Billy Ray (State of Play ) to script the feature film.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) Trailer

Posted: 27 Mar 2010 01:10 PM PDT

They say that A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) isn’t exactly a remake of the 1984 horror classic, but rather a “contemporary re-imagining.” The concept and premise remain the same with the killer Freddy Krueger as the main character, but the details of the storyline are not the same.

Freddy Krueger will not be played by Robert Englund this time, but rather by Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley. The movie is set for release on April 30, 2010. Check out the trailer for the flick below.

Foodie Byte: Depending on how spicy you like your popcorn, the amount of chili flakes can easily be changed. It's important that you serve the popcorn as soon as you make it, because after too long, the butter will cause the popcorn to get soggy.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 10

  • 3 packages microwave popcorn
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
