This physics-based 3D puzzle-platformer game, scheduled for world-wide launch on WiiWare during Q2 of this year. How to Make BBQ Potato Chips Posted: 24 Mar 2010 08:47 PM PDT Are you looking for the perfect potato chip? You can actually make them yourself! For the ideal BBQ chip, follow this recipe from the Idaho Potato Commission courtesy of Chef Ken Callahan, Blue Smoke, New York, NY. You can adjust the spices to make them just how you like them. Image: Idaho Potato Commission Yield: Serves 4 Ingredients: 4 Idaho potatoes thin sliced lengthwise 2 pounds melted, clarified butter 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Ancho chili powder 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika 2 teaspoons barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon champagne vinegar 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Salt 1 cup cilantro, chopped and slightly chilled Directions: Slice potatoes and hold in water. Combine spices and salt, put mixture into labeled shaker or plastic baggie. Heat butter to 320-degrees in a fryer. Dry slices well and place in fryer until golden brown; turn several times. A Storm of Light is seeking a permanent drummer for their band. Here’s a message for the Brooklyn atmospheric doomsters about the opportunity: “In just over two years since the band’s inception, A STORM OF LIGHT has had the honor and privilege of playing with many great drummers: Vinny Signorelli, Jason Roeder, Pete Angevine etc. While this band is built around revolving members both in touring and recording, we’ve decided that a central three-piece will make us sonically/rhythmically stronger. That said, we have decided to look for a permanent drummer, one that can make STORM their primary focus, and be part of the band for the long haul. A Storm of Light When: ASAP. We will be recording in early fall and going to Europe from September 28 – Nov 1. Where: Ideally we want someone in Brooklyn/NYC, or damn close. While we are willing to consider people outside of the area (New Jersey/Philadelphia/Upstate NY/Providence/Boston/DC etc). Kobe Takes Over in the 4th to Top Spurs Posted: 24 Mar 2010 08:11 PM PDT The Los Angeles Lakers came away with their seventh straight win on Wednesday night, however, it wasn’t easy. Kobe Bryant scored 24 points and hit a pair of dagger 3-pointers in the 4th quarter as the Lakers pulled away from the San Antonio Spurs in the final stanza. The San Antonio team, which is still without the services of starting point guard Tony Parker, were led by Manu Ginobili with 24 points and Parker’s fill-in George Hill with 21. Tim Duncan might be the best power forward of all time, but it wasn’t his night. He shot an atrocious 2-for-11 from the field and finished the game with just six points and 12 rebounds. “It was a playoff-type of atmosphere,” Bryant said. “We were down in the first half.
