| Tiger Woods to Return at Masters Posted: 16 Mar 2010 08:55 PM PDT Golf fans have had one thing on their mind the last few months: when will Tiger Woods return? On Tuesday, we finally got our answer. Tiger will be returning from his self-imposed break at the Masters. The major will take place beginning on April 8th. Ever since a car accident that led to the unraveling of his personal life, Tiger has stayed away from competitive golf. Some in the golf world worried that Tiger would stay away for a long time to repair his marriage and get his personal life on track. There was even speculation that Tiger could walk away from the game. Tiger says that the Masters have a special meaning to him. “The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect,” said Tiger in a statement. “After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.” It will be very interesting to see Tiger’s return to golf. Will he have the same focus that has made him a golfing legend? How will the crowd react? Does he have a chance of actually winning the Masters? | Mike Bell Signs Offer Sheet with Eagles Posted: 16 Mar 2010 08:50 PM PDT Mike Bell won a Super Bowl last year with the New Orleans Saints as one of the team’s many weapons at running back. On the season he had 654 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Bell’s power was useful next to the other running backs on the team that included Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush. A restricted free agent, Bell has signed an offer sheet with the Philadelphia Eagles. According to reports, the deal is worth at least $500,000 over one season. If Bell reaches incentives, the deal could climb to a value of over $2 million. Since Bell was restricted, the Saints have an option to match Philadelphia’s offer sheet. It will likely be a challenging decision due to the depth the team already has at running back. The Saints have seven days to either match or let Bell walk. Bell’s best season came as a rookie in 2006 with the Denver Broncos. A starter for much of the season, Bell had 677 rushing yards to go along with eight touchdowns. He also had 20 receptions for 158 yards. The 26-year-old played his college ball at Arizona. This sneak preview features its producer Robert Rodriguez introducing the film. The movie is directed by Nimrod Antal and stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Walton Goggins, Danny Trejo, Laurence Fishburne, Oleg Taktarov and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali. It will be released in July.
